SYNOPSIS |
An enigmatic and charismatic Russian Countess, turn of the 20th century, convinces two of her lovers to collaborate in killing her to-be-husband. The Russian Countess and her two lovers are arrested in Venice, resulting in the biggest trial of the times, and in creating a precedent in that the new “school” of psychiatry was called upon to attend the trial to help unravel the motives of these complex characters.
